4-5 lbs beef
awaze (Mix berbere paste ) or mitmita (Chili powder)
wine
Salt
Preparation
Mix awaze ( (berbere paste ) or mitmita (Chili powder), wine, and salt. Remove fat and cut them into long strips with zigzag shapes that used to be hung on a rope,( hemp rope/thick string to dry by open air).Marinate meat with mixed dressing. Place meat on the food dehydrator. Dehydrate until crisp dry or hung on a rope,( hemp rope/thick string) to dry by open air. It’ll dry within a week.If you hung on a rope the taste of the beef is different from the dehydrator.
served as snack or appetizer or add to fifer.
