Teff and all-purpose flour pita bread with ground beef and cheese የጤፍ ቂጣ በስጋ እና ቺዝ
4 large Teff and all-purpose flour pita bread
2 cup Shredded Cheddar and Monterey jack cheese ( You can use any kind you want)
1 lb ground beef
1 cup chopped onion
2 tbsp seasoning mix(berbere or chili powder, cumin, oregano,½ teaspoon minced garlic or garlic powder, salt, and black pepper) or taco seasoning mix
1/2 cup thick salsa (tomato, onion,  redbelly pepper). (for salsa:- heat oil in the skillet. Add bell peppers and onion and tomato saute until tender and thick sauce)
Olive oil
1 Tbsp of Unsalted Butter

Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat, add oil and onion and saute for 3 minutes until the onion starts to soften. Then add butter and ground beef to the skillet, break the meat with a wooden spoon. season with berbere or chili powder, cumin, oregano, garlic powder or fresh garlic, salt, and black pepper or season with taco seasoning mix and salsa. Cook until crumbly. Remove the ground beef and place it onto a plate. Place skillet or nonstick skillet over medium heat. place the pita onto the skillet add the cheese on the top of the pita, add the ground beef. Top with a little more cheese and top with a second pita. When the pita is golden on the first side, carefully flip the pita to the other side, adding another 1/2 tablespoon olive oil to the skillet at the same time. Continue cooking until the second side is golden. Repeat with the remaining pita and fillings.
