Mitten Shiro Wot (Chickpea Wot) ምጥን ሸሮ
ingredient
Mitten Shiro (Chickpea blend with spices, herbs, and berbere)
2 chopped onion(finely chopped)
2 cloves garlic (minced )
1/4 cup olive oil or any cooking oil
chopped tomato (optional)
salt
water
preparation
Turn on the heat. In a medium dry pot add onion and saute for about 4-5 minutes then add oil and garlic add chopped tomato (optional). Cook until the onion translucent, then add Mitten Shiro, the amount you add depends on how thick you want your Shiro, stir while adding the Shiro. so that no to be lumped form. Stir until the mixture is very smooth. add water simmer for a few minutes then add more water and Salt. Let cook on low heat for 25-30 minutes until the flavors combine and the oil separates slightly from the Shiro.
Serve with Injera, Teff pita bread or Teff bread.

አንድ ኩባያ ምጥን ሽሮ
2 የተተከተፈ ሽንኩርት
1/4 ኩባያ ዘይት
የተከተፈ ቲማቲም
ነጭ ሸኩርት
ጨው
ውሃ
አሰራሩ እንደሚከተለው ነው፤
ሽንኩርትን በዘይት ማቁላላት።ሲቁላላ ፣ቲማቲም፣ ነጭ ሸኩርት እና ውሃ መጨመር ። በደምብ ማቁላላት ምጥን ሽሮውን ጨምሮ እንዳይጎጉል ውሀ ሳንጨምር ሽሮውን ስንጨምር እንዳይጎጉል ይጠቅመናል ። እያማሰልን ውሀ መጨመር። እሳቱን ጨምረን 25-30 ደቂቃ በደምብ ማንተክተክ በዚህ ጊዜ ዘይቱ ከሽሮው ሲለይ ጨዉን መጥነን መጨመር ። ሲበስል እሳቱን ማጥፊትና ማውጣት ማቅረብ።
