Kinche with vegetable marinade Olive Oil (cracked Oats or cracked barley or cracked wheat (bulgur) with Marinade Olive Oil ) ቂንጬ በአትክልት በተቀመመ የወይራ ዘይት
11/2 cups cracked Oats or cracked barley or cracked wheat (bulgur)
water only or (water and milk)
1 tomato chopped
2 green onion chopped
1/2 cucumber chopped
2 green hot pepper (jalapeno pepper) chopped
1 tbsp minced ginger
1 lemon juice
salt and pepper
wash cracked Oats or cracked barley or cracked wheat (bulgur). soak for about 10-20 minutes until the kinche is puffedDrain well. Boil the water. Bring the water to boil in medium-high heat or add (milk into the water). Add the cracked Oats or cracked barley or cracked wheat (bulgur), Add oil and salt. cover the pot and let it cook for 15 to20 minutes .let the water is absorbed. Once it is cooked, turn off the heat. Remove from heat and let stand to cool down. Add 3-4 tbsp Marinade Olive Oil into saucepan and heat just until warm over low heat then add the Kinche. turn of the heat. while it is still warm add all chopped vegetables and lemon juice mix it well until well blend .cover and refrigerate for about 20 minutes and take out add chopped avocado mix it and serves.

Fresh or dry oregano
koseret – (Lippia abyssinica)
Combine olive oil, rosemary, thyme, oregano, garlic, and koseret in a small saucepan and heat just until warm over low heat. Remove from the heat and stir to combine. Place the olives in a jar and pour in the olive oil mixture. Shake the jar to coat the olives.
