          Hummus (soaked chickpeas ) ሀሞስ (ሽምብራ)

Ingredients

1/2 lb dry chickpeas (soaked overnight)

1 lemon’s juice

4 tbsp sesame paste ( tahini paste)

3 garlic cloves

4 tbsp olive oil

sea salt and Black pepper to taste

Preparation

In a large container fill with water and soak chickpeas overnight. The next day drain the chickpeas.  Fill a large pot with water and add soaked and drained chickpeas. Boil the chickpeas until tender. Drain the chickpeas and set aside the liquid. Combine the drained chickpeas,  garlic, salt and Black pepper in a blender or food processor. process for 2 minutes, then adds sesame paste and process on high speed for 5 minutes until hummus is extra smooth. 1/2 ሽምብራ (የተዘፈዘፈ ሽምብራ)

1 ሎሚ

4 ሰሊጥ

3 ነጭ ሽንኩርት

4 የወይራ ዘይት

ጨው

ቁንዶ በርበሬ

አሰራሩ

በትልቅ ጎርጋዳ ሳህን ሽምብራውን ጨምረን ውሀ እንሞላለን። በሚቀጥለው ቀን እናጠላለን። በብረድስት ውሀ ሞልተን እንቀቅላለን።በሀይል ሳይበስል እናወጣና እናጠለዋለን።ሲቀዘቅዝ መፍጫ ውስጥ እንጨምራለን ነጭ ሽንኩርት  እንፈጨዋለን።ከዚያ የተፈጨ ሰሊጥ ፣የወይራ ዘይት፣ የሎሚ ጭማቂ፣ ጨው እና ቁንዶ በርበሬ እንጨምርና በደንብ እንፈጨዋለን:: በዳቦ ወይም በቂጣ ወይም በአንባሻ እናቀርባለን
