Alicha shiro (Chickpea Wot) አልጫ ሸሮ
ingredient
2 cups ShIro
2 chopped onion (finely chopped)
2 cloves garlic (minced )
1/4 cup oil
1-2 tsp turmeric powder
jalapeno pepper
water
salt
preparation
Turn on the heat. In a medium dry pot add onion and sautee for about 4-5 minutes then add oil and garlic add chopped tomato (optional). Cook until the onion translucent, not to be let the onion and garlic brown, then add turmeric. Add white Shiro, the amount you add depends on how thick you want your Shiro, stir while adding the Shiro.so that no to be lumped form. Stir until the mixture is very smooth. add water simmer for a few minutes then add more water and Salt. Let cook on low heat 25-30 minute then add jalapeno pepper cook until the flavors combine and the oil separates slightly from the Shiro.
Serve with Injera, Teff pita bread or Teff bread or any bread

አሰራሩ
ሽንኩርትን በውሀ ማብሰል።ሽንኩርቶ በሰል ሲል ዘይት እና ሽሮውን መጨመር።ውሀ ጠብ እያደረግን ማማሰል እንዳይጋጉል።ወሀ እየጨመርን ቅጠን እስኪል ማለት ለመንተክተክ እንዲ ያገለግለን።ከዚያም እርድ፡ነጭ ሽንኩርት፣ጨው ጨምረን እሳቱን ቀንሰን ከ20 እስክ 30 ደቂቃ እናበስላለን ።በደንብ ሲበስል እና እናበስላለን ሲበቃው በእንጀራ እናቀርባለን።
