Kinche with Marinade Olive Oil (cracked Oats or cracked barley or cracked wheat (bulgur) with Marinade Olive Oil ) ቂንጬ በተቀመመ የወይራ ዘይት
Ingredients
11/2 cups cracked Oats or cracked barley or cracked wheat (bulgur)
water only or (water and milk)
olive oil
salt
Preparation
wash cracked Oats or cracked barley or cracked wheat (bulgur). Drain well. Boil the water. Bring the water to boil in a medium-high heat or add (milk into the water). Add the cracked Oats or cracked barley or cracked wheat (bulgur), Add oil and salt. cover the pot and let it cook 15 to20 minutes .let the water is absorbed. Once it is cooked, turn off the heat. Remove from heat and let stand to cool down. Add 2 tbsp Marinade Olive Oil into saucepan and heat just until warm over low heat then add the Kinch. while it is still hot mix in well and serves.
Marinade Olive Oil
Ingredients
fresh rosemary
fresh thyme
Fresh or dry oregano
garlic
koseret – (Lippia abyssinica)
Preparation
Combine olive oil, rosemary, thyme, oregano, garlic and koseret in a small saucepan and heat just until warm over low heat. Remove from the heat and stir to combine. Place the olives in a jar and pour in the olive oil mixture. Shake the jar to coat the olives.
